NOMOS Glashütte Unveils the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer at Watches & Wonders 2025
Since its founding in 1990 in Glashütte, Germany, NOMOS has set itself apart by fusing Bauhaus-inspired design with in-house mechanical precision. Known for its meticulous craftsmanship and minimalist design language, the brand has refined its artistry over the years, securing its place as a leader among independent watchmakers. At Watches & Wonders 2025, NOMOS introduced the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer, available in blue (Ref. 790) and silver (Ref. 791), a sophisticated evolution of the Club Sport line that integrates a worldtimer complication into a design that remains focused, functional, and unmistakably NOMOS.

The Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer is NOMOS at its most versatile, blending the brand’s minimalist heritage with a complication that feels deceptively simple despite its mechanical sophistication. The 40mm tripartite stainless steel case, paired with the Club Sport bracelet featuring quick-change spring bars and a 20mm lug width, wears very comfortably on the wrist. A screw-down crown provides 100 meters of water resistance which is more than enough for daily wear and the occasional swim. A domed sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, offers a clear view of the two striking dial color options.

The blue dial Ref. 790 features a galvanized sunburst finish with a cool, monochromatic treatment throughout. The city ring and 24-hour subdial are both rendered in varying blue tones that shift subtly depending on the light. The 24-hour subdial sits recessed at 3 o’clock, color-matched to the dial and paired with a slim white GMT hand. In contrast, the silver-dial Ref. 791 takes a different approach. The city ring is rendered in a rich royal blue with crisp white text, giving the outer edge of the dial a more defined frame. The 3 o’clock 24-hour subdial is outlined in red and blue and features a red-lacquered GMT hand, adding clarity and a measured dose of color.

The worldtimer complication in the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer is operated via a pusher at 2 o’clock. Each press advances the local hour hand in one-hour increments, jumping quickly from one time zone to the next. At the same time, the city ring shifts counter-clockwise, rotating through 24 major global cities. The selected city, positioned at 12 o’clock and marked in red, indicates your current local time zone, while the central hands display the corresponding time. Whether you’re landing in London, Tokyo, or back in Cleveland, a single click updates your local time without disrupting the minutes or seconds.

A recessed pusher on the opposite side of the case sets the home time display, shown on the 24-hour subdial at 3 o’clock. This indicator doubles as a day-night reference and remains fixed, offering a consistent view of home time while traveling. On the blue-dial Ref. 790, the subdial is tone-on-tone and color-matched to the rest of the layout for a minimal, cohesive look. The silver Ref. 791 contrasts more intentionally, with a red-lacquered hand that draws the eye and improves at-a-glance legibility. Both versions include a running seconds display at 6 o’clock. Despite the mechanical complexity, the Club Sport Worldtimer remains intuitive, one pusher to adjust local time, one to set home time, and a layout that keeps everything clear and balanced.
